9 month check up

I want to update the blog real quick before I head home from work. On Monday, Cora had her 9 month checkup. She is really getting big!

Here are her stats:
18 lbs 10 oz (with her cloth diaper on. If she were naked, she'd be about 4-5 oz less than that I am guessing)--50th percentile
27 in long--50th percentile
Her head circumference was also 50th percentile.
Ummmm...can we say proportionately average! LOL. No wonder she is such a little looker.

Her weight jumped from the 25th percentile to the 50th percentile which completely shocked me. Her pediatrician thought this might eventually happen. She finally has cute little baby rolls and a Buddha belly. Dr. Galante was very happy with how she is growing and developing. He remarked on how good natured she is. She is a very good natured baby... for the most part. :) She can throw a heck of a diva temper tantrum though. My sister claims she got that from me. Whatever. We all know she got her divaness from her Daddy. LOL.

We have been having unusually warm weather here in Edmonton. It has been so nice that Lee and I got Cora's baby pool back out last week. Lee dumped the water out of it yesterday and today it is drying. I think this swimming season might officially be over.

Cora's 4th tooth started coming in on Tuesday. She really likes to grind her teeth. Hopefully she'll get over that when the newness of having teeth wears off. At least they are only baby teeth.

I honestly don't have a whole lot to say and write. I do, of course, have a zillion pictures to post. I lost my camera for about 1.5 weeks, so I'm a little behind. :)

Lets start with some eyes. The brown star burst close to her pupil is getting more noticeable. I think she may have the same color of eyes as Lee.

Pure innocence.

One of my all time favorite pictures. Most of her hair can go into a pony tail now!

Sweetest face ever!

Show me the rolls!

I love sleeping babies. She fell asleep waiting for dinner.

Sun bathing beauty. She looks so seductive in this photo.

She loves to give kisses. You can also see that she loves to hold onto anything she can get her hands onto. Ouch!

Strawberry Shortcake

Showing off her new outfit from Grandma Jo and Aunt Jean.

Mommy and Cora

The whole family. :) We all look a wee bit tired in this one. LOL

8 Months of a Carnivore

I have been reminiscing the last couple days about how quickly this first year of Cora's life is flying by. It is amazing! I am so thankful that I am able to spend so much time with her and still pursue school. It is definitely tiring but so worth it.

I am also very proud to say that Cora has not disliked a single food we have given her. She is up to around 40 new foods! She absolutely loves meat. Isn't that weird? I thought a lot of little kids had texture issues with meat, but not this carnivore. I can't even tell you what her favorite food is because she gobbles everything up.

I hope everyone enjoys the pictures.
